About Our Naples, Florida Restaurant
Tables, Lighting and More
Zeppe’s Tavern was born Cleveland, Ohio, and our tables and light fixtures were handmade by a local artist/welder/glassblower, Jason Wein of Cleveland Art.
The tables are crafted using upcycled materials from abandoned schools. The slate on the tables are old chalkboards and the wood is from old bleacher wood rescued from schools before they were totally demolished.
The light fixtures are all unique to Zeppe’s and have their own story. The main chandelier was specially made for Zeppe’s by throwing hot glass onto a mold made of bolts and screws into the shape of a guitar. Each glass guitar is held into place on an old gear chain. The lights above the community table are made from antique mercury glass, and the fixtures in both of the restrooms were repurposed out of old factory lights.
The art deco chairs on the patio came from a Cleveland legend, The Silver Grille, located inside the Higbee Building, which opened in 1931 and closed their doors in 1989. The chairs were preserved, with all of their history, and transported down to Naples, Florida. Learn more about the history.
Last but certainly not least, we can’t talk about the décor at Zeppe’s Tavern without talking about the signed guitars and memorabilia covering every walls. Zeppe’s founder, Joe Ciresi, said his first concert was Led Zeppelin at the Richland Colosseum in Cleveland, Ohio, so he couldn’t pass up on a pair of daisy duke shorts signed by Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham + John Paul Jones. Other signed guitars and memorabilia on display at Zeppe’s Tavern Naples includes Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Bob Segar, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Steve Miller, Cream, The Eagles, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, The Eagles and more!
